I like to flip my bass up so the back of it is facing the audiance and the strings are right in my face and do hammer offs whilst moving my head up and down rapidly thereby making some drunk dude in the back think I'm playing with my teeth.

Otherwise, I pretty much play with my eyes closed, and diddy bop around in one place.

In my band the crowd usually goes wild when we pull out the "Thank you, that is our show, have a good night!"

one time someone said that I should play my bass solo--solo(w) that nobody can hear me

I thought by now some wiseguy would have said he leaves the stage. I guess we just have an abundance of talented players.

I guess that makes me the first wiseguy to say that.

I do calligraphy on stage all the time. It's a regular fan favorite.

Multi skill

We major on songs with one chord: E. That way I play open E with my right hand and can deftly browse the latest Deen Koontz paperback with my left. My relentless right hand strumming is momentarily interupted with each page turn, but I've worked on my technique so any gaps are barely audible.

always a big surprise for any audience

I saw a singer get his band kicked out for jumping off stage and starting a mosh pit while he was screaming.

the crowd freaking loved it tho.

But if i were in a band, id close the set by playing "Suicide is Painless" im sure that would get everybody riled up.

Semi-serious answer: I feel that moving around a lot (for best results this should be done in sync with the beat) works in all styles.

I was at a LOA show and saw some girl get fisted on stage. That got the crowd pretty um...aroused.

Uh...not to undermine the "fisting", but I stand off to the side of the stage and "sign" the words to the songs as I'm playing. (Usually takes 4 hands, but I've got that covered since the operation and things are going well with therapy and the multi-tasking training that I've been doing.)
Love my work!!!

When I went to an LOA show, Deb wasn't wearing any panties.

The Genitorturers tied a girl down on stage, performed acts on her with a large object, and then sprayed the crowd with said object.

Those were both crowd pleasers.
