I've been doing a little research on rackmount tuners in anticipation of eventually getting one, and I discovered what is probably the ultimate 1u rackmount tuner, which was shown at NAMM and will be available in May 2007:
Yep, that's a 1u Peterson rackmounted tuner (called the Stroborack). Looks really cool, but at $360 street (MF is taking preorders), it's out of my league, and way more tuner than I need.
Looks like I'll be snagging a used Korg DTR off ebay or the TB classifieds instead.
I gotta admit, though, the Stroborack looks pretty danged cool (aesthetically).
