Unlined fretless GUITAR?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've become REALLY interested in the idea of an UF guitar for some time, and there's a really small but decent number of guitarists who play unlined fretlesses.

Anyone got any idea where I can get one? I've searched all over the place!

Godin makes both a 6-string nylon fretless (it does have small edge lines w/ dots in between) and what I have, an 11-string glissentar.

They used to have some Agile ones at Rondo Music. Not seeing any at the moment though.

Or just take a guitar and remove the frets and fill them with wood veneer. Or if you really don't want lines you could replace the fingerboard completely.

My first didn't make the cut so I got rid of it pretty quickly. My second guitar might be a good candidate for this. Sentimental? Sure. Am I going to use it again? Probably not.

Could cover for some rad solos on recordings'n'songs that don't require chords.

Well if things were to go wrong, I've always got an acoustic guitar which is screaming out to be modded.
