Q: Our band is using Garageband only for demo's at the moment because it's the only platform we all have. We're trying to e-mail the actual GB files to each (too big) so we're thinking upload site.

Any recomendations?

I tried MediaFire, but the GB files are either way too big OR MediaFire won't seem to except them? Should I upgrade to the pay accounts or are there better alternatives?

Thanks and super thanks if this topic has already been mentioned.

"Free: 200MB / file max"

If your GB files are within the 200 MB limit then perhaps compressing them into an Mac-friendly archive type before uploading to MediaFire may help (MediaFire may have trouble dealing with GarageBand's proprietary file format which is not one of the standard file formats used on the Internet).

Mac OS X has the ability to compress files.

My ISP gives me 100 mB of web space; I use that to upload files to when I want other people to have access to 'em.

I'm assuming that most people's ISP gives them a certain amount of space - if you have, it's a lot easier than most file sharing sites I've seen. Just use an FTP app to upload the files (I use Filezilla) and anybody can access the files over the 'net.

I assume security isn't a huge issue if the files are just band demo's and stuff.
