UPS Tracking system?

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I'm waiting on a bass and since 9/16/06 the "status" of the shipment has remained "billing information received." Does it not get any more detailed than that until it says "Delivered"?? Is my bass on its way or just hopelessly smashed against some wall in a warehouse?

This is an exchange that was originally sent FedEx, they at least have on the dot updates of where the package is at all times. Anyone know where to get details from UPS? The wait is killing me...

It does get more detailed, but I don't think they update it often enough. Its possible that they haven't actually recieved the package yet from the seller, and only have the billing information they recieved electronically.

UPS updates when the package is scanned at the different locations along the route. They may not have updated the website yet. The Postal Service is completely useless as far as this goes...
