Used Rip Off Artists....

Ok so a bit of a minor rant...I peruse a few different websites that sell used equipment and it seems like lately, I've been running across a lot of ads where the seller is basically trying to get new prices for used gear...case in point a Yamaha RBX270 with case for $350.00. Well, the bass is $279.99 brand new and a case can be had for 60 bucks....yes, I know, there's tax on top of the new prices but it just seems like this dude is trying to rip someone off...buying used is supposed to save you significant money, is it not?

There are some bass sites I don't buy from and won't mention that sell used gear at 90-95% new price.

I just don't shop there. They have to be selling to someone or they wouldn't be in business. Glory of the free market.

Yeup...I hear yah...I won't buy from this type of seller either...far to saavy for that but it still irritates the hell out of me because some poor kid that doesn't know any better will probably pony up the money and that just sucks.
