| Using Garage band, chord changes please help!

Hello i just got a new mac and it came with garage band, which seems to be pretty useful although the function i need the most is making chord changes. Garage band shows bars, has drum beats etc.... but what i need is something to plug in chords, are there any tracks that can do this?
Like lets say i wanted a guitar track to do some comping on 4 bars of Bb7 to 4 bars of Eb7 and then just loop it.....
Is there anything like this available or would i have to pick up a guitar up myself?
