Read a little bit on Mike Vans Evers a while back, and was thinking of buying one of his cables. Has anyone here played on them? How do they stack up to a George L. Cable, or others?

$100 for an instrument cable? That's insane. There's just WAY too much hype about these things (thank you, Monster Cable).

There's a bassist named Butch Ammons who makes and sells cables. His stuff might be worth a look:

I have to chip in a word for Pete Brunelli too - a great guy with great cables. He doesn't have a website, but you can click here to check out the thread on his stuff.

I want to second the recommendation of Butch Ammons's "Bayou Audio Cables". His prices are very reasonable and his cables are rock solid. His service was very quick and the next time I buy a cable (or a few), I'll be getting them from Butch.
