Anyone else went to see Victor Wooten and his Soul Cirkus last night in Chicago?
In my opinion the show was awesome. Getting a chance to see Wooten was unique to me since I'm only staying in the US for one semester (I live in Denmark), and I would say he's the bassist thats inspired me the most...
I did have to leave before the show was over, though, since I had to catch a train at 12.40. Perhaps the opnening act could've started a little earlier or played fewer songs...?
Anyways, great show and I couldn't help but get a bit excited when Victor mentioned the late Danish double-bassist Niels Henning Ørsted
