Any other inmates attend the seminar at Sweetwater in Fort Wayne last night?

Fantastic! Nearly three hours of alternating between, "Right, that's it...I'm selling all my gear because I'll never approach that skill level" and "Yea, now that's encouraging!"

Really liked what he had to say about the role of the "groove" and playing bass.

J.D. Blair was equally unbelievable on drums as well. Actually played a cardboard box at one point. Still sounded great.

Both have great senses of humor and it was a fun night.

I didn't go to that specific one, but I did see him not too long ago at a clinic and he was absolutely amazing. He is kind of a polarizing character here for some reason. But his outlook on music in general is absolutely spot on.
