How old does a piece of musical equipment have to be before it's "vintage"?

Good question. I the car world, over 25 is vintage. Over 50 is antique.

I thought 100 was antique...Maybe that's just furniture.

Technically, vintage is 25 years at least, and antique is 100 years at least.

These definitions have been abused for business purposes.
