Vocals on American Music Awards

Anyone watching the American Music Awards tonight?

Noticing that lots of the vocals are sub par?

I have a feeling the in ear monitor mixes are hosed. I have seen multiple people grab their ears.

Lots of flat singing. Ouch. I feel bad for the performers - I have a feeling they're not hearing well enough to give their best.

Just saw the Pussy Cat Dolls. They spent most of their reality show crying that they weren't strippers, so what do the do? Pole dance.

The Pussy Cat Dolls are about as much a real band as
the Banana Splits I used to watch as a kid.

I quit watching award shows after the Milli Vanilli flap, so I didn't see this one. I'd guess the guy we're speaking of is actually Crue guitarist Mick Mars.

Mick's not in the best of health. He's been suffering from a bone disease* that causes bones to fuse together at the joints and usually makes a person shrink a few inches.

*ankylosing spondylitis

Funny that they were flat because for half of it you could tell that they were lip-sincing.

I didn't watch every artist, but for the bunch I did - they were absolutely singing live. And flat.
