I play bass, and I live in Lafayette. Are you talking about White Horse? Our singer has performed there with the Big Swing Band.

Hey

Yeah ive been there for conferences. They have a killer PA system there. Big church. it would be cool to play through their system. Is the Big Swing Band a christian group?

Right, I know the guy that installed the sound system- it's a great set up. The BSB is not a christian band per se, but a swing dance band. Not sure when or why they played there though.

I was in the Lafayette area for about 4 months last year. I didn't get to visit WHCC. I heard good things about it though.

Thinking of Lafayette makes me crave a doughnut from O'Rears. Either that, or some crawdads from the new cajun restaurant on Main Street (it might be on Ferry...I can't remember). Terre Haute is ok, but if I had to live in Indiana I'd rather live in West Lafayette or Indy.

You may be referring to the Cajun Connection on 6th and Main. It closed a while back and a new BBQ and Cajun place has since moved in. It's called Scagnoli's- it's fantastic. If you ever make it back, be sure to check it out. They are great supporters of live music, and it is quickly becoming the late late night hang out.
