Hey guys.
Im a new member here and this is my first post. so here goes.
I have a Headless 4 string bass at the moment but im going off to Billy Hyde to buy a new 5 stringer. (Schecter Stiletto Extreme 5 - any advice is appreciated )
so it seems that my headless wont be getting a pile of use when the schecter comes along and I'm thinking of wall mounting the headless. I have seen a few things around the place (ebay etc) but they are a pile of money. so any one with some ideas i would be so happy to hear them.
Thanks in advance guys |

You won't need them as chunky as that, just thin pressed steel ones will do. Take the strap buttons off your bass, then screw them on again with the brackets sandwiched between the bass and the strap button, then mark off where the brackets meet the wall. Take the brackets off the bass again, drill and screw them to the wall, then sandwich the brackets between the bass and the back of the strap button again.

2. Mount that hardware to a board.(zip ties, screws, rope, epoxy?)
3. Mount board to wall.(screw to stud!)
4. "Hang" bass.
This might require tools, and a slight knowledge of how to use them.
You could also stop by the local hardware store and get some of those screw in hook that people use to hang things in the garage. The kind for a bike could support the neck, I've seen a flat bar that could hold the body end. Screw them into the wall pointed up, and "hang" the bass sideways. They're generally coated in plastic so they shouldn't scratch the finish, but you could find some small foam tube to put on there too. |

Woodies guitar hangers are what they're called, I don't know their price, however.

I have a big cabinet next to where I practice that I hang it on, but you could easily hang it on the wall if you screwed in a small block to hang it on. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.c...ger?sku=450150
