Hi all.


A school I have started teaching at has asked me to play an item at their school assembly to promote the new bass lessons at school. I hate this, but i think for my best interests ($$$$$) i need to play something that will draw kids in.

Any ideas for an item piece, anyone? Its THIS Thursday. I own a looper so you can throw that in the equation.


This sucks, show off bass is not me anymore, despite others who have seen me play in the past.

I do NOT want to do this, nor do i condone what i am doing. I am the definition of selling out. This goes against every bass one in my body, but i need cash.

Unaccompanied bass does not have to equal wanky by any means. Figure out what type of music you want to play, then try to figure out if you can translate it to a solo version if you're going to be playing someone else's material. Look up acoustic guitarists' versions of songs on Youtube. Two days isn't much time though.
