I've seen them play a few times. The bass player was using a vintage Carvin. I asked him after the show about it and what kind of strings he was using. He replied, "Um, I don't know? What ever came with the bass.". Dude can sure lay it down.

The Dap Kings are great. I rhapsody'd Amy Winehouse's album because they back her. The Budos Band is cool too (also on Daptone rekkids).

Nice, I want to see them live really badly. I think they're playing in Indianapolis soon, so I might make the drive. I'm trying to get them booked at the local college tho.

They just played here in Boston with Budos. The show sold out pretty quick and I never was able to get tickets. Bummer.

I hope you get to see them in Indy.
