Warmoth Ship Times

I ordered a custom warmoth neck almost a month ago. The receipt said ship time for custom orders requiring finishes take 10-12 weeks.

Is this accurate? How long did your custom warmoth necks take to arrive?

I am dying... I've got the body all assembled and wired up and tuning machines and neck bolts are ready to go. Just waiting on my beautiful 20-fret, maple/maple, tele headstock, p-bass neck w/o inlays...

That is about average. Based on your specs listed there, it could come in a little early, but that is not an absolute guarantee it will be early.

You are welcome to PM me your info and I can check status.

if that's what it says why assume anything different....i find it refreshing when a company makes realistic promises and keeps them.....

It took about a month for my body blank to come in.

It took about a week for showcase items to come in. The neck I bought needed finishing and it still only took a week. But it sounds like yours was a custom, so a little over a month sounds about right.

My neck is scheduled to arrive today. It was custom since it wasn't in stock, but not exotic (maple/maple) and unfinished. I ordered it on January 31st so it took a full 6 weeks to build and ship. I called on it a couple of times since I was impatient, but it's not as though they have a work order tracking system or anything, so the calls didn't help much. I think that you should figure on more than my 6 weeks for a finished neck. It might be 8-10. I'm hoping to get my Frankenbass jolted to life by the end of the weekend if all goes well. Good luck.

I just received my maple/maple 21 fret net for a JBass from Warmoth and the workmanship is jaw dropping. Kudos to Wyliee and his company. I'm amazed at the skill that some people have with woodworking. While the wait is hard to take ericw, you'll be happy you waited.
