Other than the instruments banging into eachother every once in a while I am a big fan of the rockstand. I've had mine for a few years and it's help up pretty well.

My guitarist has a Rockstand. They come in pretty handy on cramped stages, since he always brings at least two guitars, and I always bring two basses. Off to Miscellaneous.

Close, its a Classica. The Oscar Schmidt plays pretty good and sounds decent; sort of an acoustic bass sound.

Ibanks, how's the Oscar Schmidt guitar in the back? I've been looking at getting both of those hollowbodys, do you think the bass is worth the price?

What is that six string bass with the really light gauge strings at the end? Some kind of short scale by the looks of it.

To be completely honest, I like it, but I have nothing to compare it with; I hadn't played a guitar since '73. The bass is worth twice the price or more.

I have a Rockstand, and have been using it steadily for the last year. There are only a few things that bother me:

1. Mine does not lock in place when open. The basses hold it open, but it should lock

2. It's not constructed very well. The parts I had to assemble did not go together easily and one screw never even got close to its intended hole

3. Everytime I pull it out, those darn guitar players put their stuff in it. Always the very center position so that you get tail-end Charley. An ES - 335 takes up a lot of space

Other than that, it rocks!
