warwick with straplocks?

Sign in to disble this ad
A quick question... will these straplocks http://www.musicstorekoeln.de/nl/glo...usicstore.html fit the strapbuttons of my '92 warwick thumb? Judging by the looks, they will...but I'm not shure

It's hard to tell, since we don't know what kind of strap buttons you have on your bass now.

Replacing them with the Schaller ones wouldn't be too difficult, though, and I'm sure they'll look fine.

schallers wont work on warwicks. Warwicks use recessed ones, like the dunlops. I had to get the dunlop ones, then dremel the place that goes into the body down so the straplocks would fit flush with the body, good luck.

With 'the recessed ones', you mean the type that are completely removable? I know warwick used them for a while, but mine doesn't have those!

They're all completely removable. "Recessed" means the lock receptacle is drilled into the horn of the instrument, so that no outer button can be seen.
