First of all, my local radio station is doing a Rock Madness bracket where listeners can vote for bands in a March Madness-styled competition. Frankly, this bracket, with some of the upsets, REALLY shows what's wrong with the music industry:

As fars as "victories" go, these were quite the upsets that I can't believe:
* Green Day beat Hendrix
* Kid Rock beat U2
* Bad Company beat Kiss
* Whitesnake beat Springsteen
* Three Days Grace beat the Clash
* Puddle of Mudd beat Stone Temple Pilots
* Three Doors Down beat Queen
* Theory of a Deadman beat Boston
* Buckcherry over Rush
I guess this is a sign of the times... the losing bands are loved by older generations that are too sensible to spend money texting in their votes. But either way, I'm dumbfounded that Buckcherry could overtake Rush, Kid Rock beat anybody at all, and Hendrix fell to Green Day.
I guess it's time to admit we're all getting old.
