Anyone ever hear of this thing? Looks like a simple little thing to add without having to mod your bass, and I'd assume it's somewhat of a string retainer .

looks kinda cool, Vai has some kind of pick holder on his headstock but he like lines the picks upo across the bottom, don't know how he does it. Anyways I reckon it would be a slight nuisance to reach that far for a pick, you can get the "un-cool" ones and stick em on the body.

Yeah, why put the pick all the way up there? That is not that convenient, IMO. I could prolly reach into my pocket as fast.
Though... I rarely use picks so take that for what it's worth...

Slip an extra pick under your pick-guard. That is, if you have to use a pick.

I've got a pick holder on my guitar, seems like a better design than the wedgie. Little soft-triangle shaped thing with an adhesive back, stick it right on the back of the guitar, invisible to the audience, but right where you need it.
