Yep, ordered a fulltone ocd from a CA craigslist almost 2 weeks ago and still no pedal, no tracking number, and NOW no contact with the "seller". He said he shipped it out last friday, but yet I still have no tracking number for it...... getting pretty pissed and I don't know what to do. All I wanted was a nice OCD and it comes to this. Why can't people just be honest these days. Sorry for rambling, I have just come to appreciate TB and its honesty (AFAIK) and am deeply depressed as I have $130 down the drain. Maybe its a sign I dont need effects....

Ouch... that really does suck.

It's one of the reasons why I only do local Craigslist deals. It's not secure in the way that eBay is, so I'd rather not take my chances with long-distance deals...

Yeah, the seller is counting on you not going out there looking for your $130!

I'm not trying to be callous, just curious. I thought the whole point of craig's list was that you did the exchange in person?

If you have his address, you should inform him that a couple of your ex-Marine Corps buddies will drop by to pick up the pedal if he can't get it to the post office in the next day or two. It's worked for me.

Yep... it's why there's warnings all over craigslist to not jump on any deals that involve shipping.

eBay and PayPal actually have some form of security. if you don't get something you can file a claim

Filing a claim does not guarantee you anything...

It's a shame that there are so many $hitty people out there...
