Well, Rush finally made it into the Hall of Fame

Rush Is a band and La Times report

I guess we'll have to find something else to complain about

Deep Purple and The Meters didn't. ;) The ones that did get in were pretty cool though. Glad to see Rush and Heart made it in.

Now we can complain that they were inducted to the hall of fame.

They are too good for such a dubious honor.

Well, at least they're rock and roll.

This proves that Rush is as innovative as Donovan. Now Alex Lifeson can hold his head high in the knowledge that his colleagues put him in that same lofty guitar company.

I'm so freaking happy that Rush finally got in that I could cry! :crying: :D

Up next - Yes, The Moody Blues, and Deep Purple.

If they don't show up to accept the award, you can always round up Tom Hanks, Sean Penn(with shades and long hair wig) and James Gandolfini(with a blonde wig) and no will know the difference.

Public Enemy gets in ??????????? and Deep purple does not?

On the public voting poll. The rankings were Rush 1st, Deep Purple 2nd, and Heart 3rd.

That's weird. So maybe it's not an actual vote, but more like a public suggestion. Can you link it? I'd like to see it.

I wish they would just call it the Music Hall of Fame

The fan vote poll results were taken off the Hall of Fame website today.

Online Fan Poll

Thank you for your interest in the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Online Fan Poll! The poll is now closed.

For the first time in its history, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame offered fans the opportunity to officially participate in the induction selection process. The public had the opportunity to vote for the five nominees they believe to be most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2013 inductees, who will be announced soon.
