i had a really, maybe dumb, question about whammy's. do all whammy bars just kinda dangle and swing around loose  or can they be tightened, orrr

yeah. i know **** about whammy's. | It depends on the model and what you want. Kahlers can be tightened down, but if you want it to dangle so it won't be in the way, just loosen it a couple of turns. |

For example, I like to be able to swing it and leave it to hover over any string I please during one part of a song, then let it go and then come back to it later in the song and it's exactly where I left it. It's a normal thing to want a whammy bar to be able to do.
