I'd recommend the "give Brendan your Iphone" app.

GigBaby Free-best metronome I've found (haven't tried the 4-track)

Scales-the title says it all

Tempo2 - Flexible metronome with variations in rhythm, tap beat, set list management. Not free, but costs less than a Starbucks latte and lasts longer.

Virtuoso Piano Free - simple keyboard for fiddling with melodies, identifying keys, etc (esp when I'm not near my bass)

Metronome is useful...

Have to get the "Bubble" its a level...
Flashlight..uses camere flash as flashlight..
Barcode Scanner is great
Gas Buddy Give you local cheap gas rates
Borat Soundboard..totaly useless but funny
Al Pacino Sound Board..
CNN news

iGBMobile - allows you to load PDF versions of fake books on to you iPhone/iPod Touch, allows search by song title or composer, a set list manager, and you can view the page from the PDF as well.
