So....

What and would you love to be in, and why of course.

I would love to be in the residents.
It would be my dream to have total anonymity from the fans and to be able to just make cool, original music.

Medeski, Martin, and Wood (and Scofield?), because Billy Martin is my favorite drummer, and Scofield is my favorite guitar player. Although I don't think I could jam for 15 years straight with the same guys and still be creative.

I wouldn't mind touring with Santana, with Dennis Chambers, either.

queens of the stone age, and I think there might be a decent chance given how fast they go through bass players. There new one is the worst yet IMO.

Muse because of the ultra amazing sound they have. And also because Matt Bellamy is one of my biggest heroes!

And also RHCP because of the cool ass jams.

King's X because there's nothing like a power trio. Getting to sing soulful with Beatleesque harmonies and play bass that sounds incredible!

I'd seriously love to be in New Order....before they split up of course!

Their songs are legendary- a mix of booming bass, catchy synths and excellent and perfectly timed drums. Plus, I can sing better than Bernard Sumner!
Seriously, if they want to reform and Bernard Sumner doesn't want to work with Hooky, I'm only a phonecall away!

If Paul Simon wanted to form a band to play a "Graceland" concert, I'd be happy to help!

Similarly, any band John McLaughlin wanted to put together I'd play with, especially if he was going to be taking influence from his 80's stuff!

Your mom's waist-band.

(sorry, I'm feelin' ornery today)

Actually, I'd love to play bass for Lacuna Coil. And, since Marco is married to Cristina Scabbia, maybe I could take on the "husbandly duties" as well.

Coheed and Cambria, especially after hearing their new stuff

Their stuff is so groovy and fun for rock.

Definitely The Roots, Isis, Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Jamiroquai, or the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.

I'd honestly love to get onboard with pretty much any decent signed metal band. I guess that's a given though.

If I had to pick one, it'd have to be a band with some room for me to do some crazy stuff....like what Jason listed above (Mastodon, Dillinger, etc). Now that I think about it....Soulfly. I've been a huge fan of Max Cavalera ever since Arise came out. I'd love to work with him and the kind of musicians he puts together. Especially since he's finally getting back together with his brother Igor.

Earl Brutus, Gallon Drunk, or Kaizers Orchestra are the first three that come to mind.
