My old 1967 Fender Coronado II played through a 1963 Magnatone model 415 Cilo Bass Amp (25 watts, 4x8" speakers).

Unlike with relationships, I always look for a hell-raising ball-buster in a Bass rig.

Hmm... What kind of rig seems nice, has a good personality, dated you for four months, then ignores you with no explanation and ends up dating that ONE person you really hate, without ever breaking up with you?

Two Genz Benz NEOX-212T cabs stacked vertically powered by a GBE 1200 on top w/ me playing a Warwick. Tall, skinny, with great bottom, a stellar rack, and a bit of a dirty mouth when you want it. All powered by "The Sound of Wood", of course

My 1970's era Fender Bassman 100. Cute, and you think it's going to work out. But ultimately, a relationship based on pity and compromise won't last, and now I'm just thankful someone else was willing to buy it!

At one stage I was using a PA "J" Bin as a Bass cabinet. It was extremely inefficient and sounded like crap....

A bit like my ex wife really.....

Rics and Peavey. Cheap, dependable, took some abuse and still performed.

Then I married a StingRay. Great sounding beauty that hates weather changes and needs a fair amount of attention.
The kids are definitely GK. loud and in your face.

Besides strange, the more awkward this type of threads are, greater the probability of ending up falling in some sort of Ampeg & Fender P / J worship..
