I have been paying homage to James Jamerson lately - "Heard It Through The Grapevine"( Gladys & the Pips version), "Its a Shame" (Spinners), "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (Marvin Gaye & Tami Terrell version)

so far this summer ive learned-

"video killed the radio star" - pusa
"we're not gonna take it" - twisted sister
"sink to the bottom with you" - fountains of wayne
"the twist" - chubby checker
"slow twist" - chubby checker

this afternoon im going to work on
"tripping+billies", and "ants marching" by dave matthews band

i also plan to learn "september" by earth wind and fire before the summer is over

if i can get my playing up another notch or two, i may try to take on "canned heat" by jamariquai

Hahaha well I can't focus on one long enough before realizing that "Oh I wanted to know this one" or "Oh I really like that line I should learn it" and before you know it I'm in the middle of a bunch of different songs without finishing any of them!
