What is the best way to clean up a bass?

I think the tuners can use a bit of polish. They are the black chrome tuners and thy are almost 2 years old. There is a bit of wall paint on the body. It got there by being brushed up against the wall a bit when ever I hang it. Not a lot, but I'd like to remove it to sell it in mint condition. An overall cleaning and polishing would be useful too. Again just to sell in mint condition.
