What brand of guitar do I have?

Can you tell me what kind of guitar I have? I found it in my grandpas room after he died and my grandma let me have it... now there isn't a serial number on it that I can see and it looks like something has been scratched/peeled off the head of the guitar (maybe a logo of some sort)

I would like to know what type it is...
Here are some pics

Inside of the guitar:

The whole thing:

The closest thing I have come up to finding what type of guitar this is is from this site: http://www.provide.net/~cfh/gibson.html

Any help at all would be nice please!

Is the neck really hefty and heavy? Is there anything on the back of the headstock or looks like it was removed from the back of the headstock?

Does the neck seem to be painted a solid color, or stained a translucent color?

Closeups of the headstock, front and back, and the neck heel would help.

Can't really tell what the headstock looks like with the flash shadow. An old Gibson is going to have a MOP inlay, kind of difficult to scratch off. An old inexpensive Gibson is going to have a screened on decal- that can be scratched off, but they didn't put either nice tops or "faux flame" on the inexpensive models.

What kind of tuners are on it- if they say say something like "Kluson" or "Kluson Deluxe" you might have an American made dreadnaught, if they're blank or open geared tuners, it might be an inexpensive Asian guitar.

It is heafty and heavy actually. There is a pic of a music stand with the words "steel reinforced neck" on it.

The neck is stained (I can tell I've worked with wood alot)

Exactly what I thought it was. I had one here not too long ago, looked really familiar. Same steel reinforced neck, same pickguard held in place by three screws. Unfortunately, it had a huge hole in the top and I deemed it irrepairable for any decent amount of money and threw it out.

I wish I could remember what it was...

Au contraire, I do recall posting a similar thread quite a while ago, about a year ago, and I found out it was a Kay!

Can Anyone Identify this Vintage Acoustic?
