Fender Starcaster guitar (didn't GAS for it, acquired it and it turned out well)

Didn't-
Epiphone SG guitar
BC Rich Warlock guitar

For Me:

Did
Fender Jazz 24 (Holy Crap I love this bass!)
Carvin R1000 2x10 combo
Had Ashdowne Electric Blue 180/15" combo and on 10 we couldn't hear it next to me and the drummer.

I love seeing the smile on the drummers face when I brought this rig in. Nothing broke, but no worries about low SPL.

Didn't:
So far just the volume on the Ashdowne. Lot's more on the Carvin (more money too, but also much more flexible sound shaping.

Learned from all of that:
Do better research, before plunking down my hard earned. Ignorance is expensive.
