I got my wife a new notebook PC, mainly because I didn't have any GAS. I had almost $500 in "bonus bucks" at work and couldn't think of anything to buy, so I splurged for a new laptop. "Her" $1000 treadmill was supposed to be for birthday and Christmas, but her current laptop is a POS.

I think I'm getting a dual keyboard stand, which is all I really want - that isn't ridiculously out of budget.

My wife recently started playing Ukulele so I get her a new Uke and I get to build another bass. Also, I am taking us to Canada for a weekend getaway without the kid now that he can sleep without us (he's 1 1/2 yrs+) for christmas. And what did she say to me? "No more basses until your band starts playing more". That's right...She just told me to start playing more gigs and get another bass!

Sweet!!

I love my Wife!

(my money goes into her account every monht as I don't have an account in France where we live..)

I bought my wife a Tiffany's necklace and Tiffany's set of earrings. I bought it with bass money that I had left over from selling some stuff. She doesn't know about the jewelry and will be super surprised because she's been asking me for this necklace for over a year. She has never asked me for the earrings...just another surprise.

What do I get? I have no clue...but we did buy our daughter a Nintendo Wii...so I guess that can count for my Christmas gift. :-)

No Tiffanys next year for her!

We don't give presents, it's enough that we have to spend hundreds and hundreds of euros goin back to Sweden to be with family during the holidays, which is indeed of course nice, but it's still a lot of money.
