WHAT do I do?!

Ok, I've been searching this earth, under every stone and pebble for the 'perfect'(in my mind)amp/cab/combo, whatever....I don't care who its made by or if its tube/ss/or if there's a little hamster inside the head running to make the speakers go boom....

Then I found it...the Ampeg 50 ProIsovent. WOW . Only thing is, it wasn't mine, and wasn't for sale(yes, I contemplated stealing it, , but I don't think my cousin would appreciate that).

My problem?
The only one I've been able to find is online at Guitar Center for $800. From what I've read, that's kinda overpriced plus....I don't buy things from that place. Its one of those moral things I have, i.e. I don't shop at wal-mart, I walk when I can, I don't eat at chain restaurants, etc.
But that cab sounds heavenly....

So...steal it from my cousin, buy from the devil's music store, or wait it out?

Steal it from your cousin then give him $800 for his birthday.

I would but...SHE would kick my gluteus up and down the street....plus her brother gave it to her and I don't think my grandma would approve(she's like the family Don)

You sure you got the name right? I don't see it on GC's website, Google's never heard of it, and it's not listed in any reviews at Harmony Central either.

So your morality goes only as far as not shopping at GC or Wal-Mart and walking whenever you can, but stealing it is ok? Suck it up and keep an eye on ebay or craigslist.

Find it secondhand... OR buy it at GC and sell your current gear at a discount to a local mom&pop to equalize your karma a bit.

I'd probably just trade my time, efforts and skills for currency (ie. working... probably at a job of some kind), then I'd figure out how much of that currency I would have left over after taking into consideration the cost of living and would put it aside. I would repeat this process until I had the $800 dollars I would need in order to purchase the product of my desire.

A bit of time (perhaps a few months) spent searching for used ones on Ebay will surely be rewarded.
