What to do now?

Well, today I cut one of the fingers on my left hand with a knife at work. Anyways, the cut isnt too bad, but I did try playing a bit and I reopened the cut so i've made the decesion that ill have to hold off on the bass for a bit, until it heals. Any suggestions on how I can try and improve my bass skills without actually playing the bass (i'm kind of a beginner and i've been practicing a lot lately and I wanna just pick up my bass and play so bad right now)? If you've had an injury preventing you from playing bass, please tell it too!

Use some super glue. Seriously. Cyanoacrelate has been used for years to quickly close cuts. It has a similar chemical makeup as another substance in your body, so your body will gradually absorb the glue without any harm.

It was invented in the 40's as a clear glue to attach gun sights, but it didn't work as intended. It was eventually used in Vietnam by medics to close wounds.

So just regular super glue or a certain medical type glue or what? Can I pick it up at a pharmacy/convienence store?

Yeah, just any type of superglue. They're usually sold in small bottles or tubes. Anyplace should have it and it'll seal that cut so that it won't reopen and it'll heal nicely. Make sure it says cyanoacrylate like on this tube.
