I don't have a good place to sit. I settle for the edge of the couch or I'll just stand. Until I find that ball...

Kind of a cross between a drum throne and a stool.

I thought it was odd when it didn't go lower. What if a drummer has short stubby legs? |

It's easier to play from a sitting position, I don't want to create a false sense of my abilities.

Okay folding metal chair, just like band class at school back in the day. I stand for rehearsals and performances if allowed

| | | | If I'm noodling, I'll sit on any convenient chair; so long as it doesn't have arms, I'm good.
...but if I'm practicing, I stand. |

In the basement at my workbench I have an extra barstool I sit on which isn't bad. Most of the time I just stand though, because it's what I'm used to.
