In the past I have spent much time trying to find the perfect name

My conclusion: Time Lost (not the name, but what it is)

IMO

If it is simple and you like it, use it.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure but it had a ring to it, and screamed bright neon orange in my mind(if that makes any sense)

Not so good. I'm a radio guy. I'd expect a band named Hot Silly to be one-hit-wonders at best.

It's the word "silly".

Just my 2 cents.

hmmm "silly hot" lol? What is a good band name to you then? I really don't want to mess up before I've even started by choosing a bad name

It's good for the type of music you're aiming for.

Don't listen to the radio guy. He does not live in your world.

I would say that is a pretty cool name actually despite how you came up with it . It really could be one of those names that stands out and sticks and also makes people wonder then ask about the back story of the name.

Does it sound like a one-hit wonder? Now I'm kinda worried.

Something vague is never bad. Green Day, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard... no meaning, no negative baggage.

OK, Green Day does have a meaning, but they don't sing about pot.

Not sure if you are a man or woman, but I was also just thinking this name would be awesome for a chick band or at least a few female band mates (singer). Just my other two sense.
