What do you think of my bass tone? (mp3 inside)

Hi all, I wanted to know what you guys thought of my bass tone on my song.
I know the drums suck, but its all I can get my hands on at the moment (unless you know of a free software on the net??)

Anyway, try to guess what kid of bass im using, that could be fun!

Oh and what do you think of the song intself?

i would have no idea what bass it is but the bass sound is ace and the whole track is cool. it's obvious the bass is more important to you than the guitar and drums tho.

how is the bass recorded??

i liked it, i'm usually not one for smooth mids, for me, the less the better, but i liked it.

Some kind of bass with black pickups on it... possibly some knobs, and hole for the cord... some strings and a body and neck setup... erm... hmm...

Nice. I dig the playing and the tone as well. No clue on what kind of bass it is.

I like the tone of the bass, I'd like to know what make. I agree that the guitar and drums sound like they were recorded differently than the bass, perhaps at different times? Then you looped it all together? Did you do this all by yourself or are there other players on this tune? Overall I do like it, it's got a catchy beginning bass riff.
