OK, yeah, it sounds funny I know but I really want to learn what does the word "muff" mean in Big Muff Pi pedal by Electro Harmonix?
A short search gave me those results for the meaning of "muff"
1. A soft cover of cylindrical form, usually of fur, worn by women to shield the hands from cold.
2. A short hollow cylinder surrounding an object, as a pipe.
3. A blown cylinder of glass which is afterward flattened out to make a sheet.
4. A stupid fellow; a poor-spirited person.
5. A failure to hold a ball when once in the hands.
6. The whitethroat.
7. To handle awkwardly; to fumble; to fail to hold, as a ball, in catching it. a warm tubular covering for the hands fail to catch, as of a ball.
(.....)
8.Neither of them
9.Ask Electro harmonix
10. I love carrots
Or what this "pi" means, any logic behind putting this number 3,14....
Why do I ask it? Well I'm planning to paint my russian made EHX big muff pi and the idea of putting all writings on it, in russian language looked like a cool idea. So I should know the correct meaning to be able to make the translation to russian.
Thanks!
