What a fun bassline to play!

So, if any of you guys are familiar with the band XTC, they produced one album under their altar ego, a psychedelic rock group by the name of the Dukes of Stratosphear. One of the songs on the album is called "Braniac's Daughter". It's a very catchy little tune, with probably one of the most fun bass lines to play of all time. YouTube = "Can't Access At Work," but I think XTC's one of the most underrated rock bands ever. Lots of great pop hooks strung together with brainy, thoughtful songs and expert musicianship.

They started out as a sort of homage to the Beatles, and went on from there.

The Dukes are one of my favorite all time bands. The whole album is one big stereotype of psychedelic music, but they did it so darned well! I'm not sure if they intended it as a joke or not, but wow.
