What a fun bassline to play!

So, if any of you guys are familiar with the band XTC, they produced one album under their altar ego, a psychedelic rock group by the name of the Dukes of Stratosphear. One of the songs on the album is called "Braniac's Daughter". It's a very catchy little tune, with probably one of the most fun bass lines to play of all time. So here's a youtube link of it, check it out, and tell me if you need tabs etc!

YouTube = "Can't Access At Work," but I think XTC's one of the most underrated rock bands ever. Lots of great pop hooks strung together with brainy, thoughtful songs and expert musicianship.

They started out as a sort of homage to the Beatles, and went on from there.

+1 for "The Mayor of Simpleton."

+1 to the XTC comment bro, they had a lot of great tunes, and mayor of simpleton rocks

like you were saying, "Braniac's Daughter is a very Paul McCartney influenced song, jumpy bass line and intelligent melodic patterns=Paul McCartney haha

The Dukes are one of my favorite all time bands. The whole album is one big stereotype of psychedelic music, but they did it so darned well! I'm not sure if they intended it as a joke or not, but wow.
