I tried three times to start compiling a list of genres I like, but I kept realizing it's not the genre I like, it's specific artists within those genres.

Off the top of my head the CD's currently in my car:

New York Dolls
Notorious BIG
Cypress Hill
M.O.P.
Soundgarden
Joan Jett
Queen
Ace of Base
White Zombie
NIN

I listen to lots of stuff in pretty much every genre. (excluding "metal-core", "screamo" and such like)
The band is more important than genre (in other words im fussy and think there are too many gash bands in every genre)
