What is the guitar version of talkbass?

The best forum I found yet apart from talkbass is jam session but it's nothing near as good as talk bass is. Is there another good guitar forum, something with as much maturity and members as talkbass?

Jam Session is the only good guitar forum I've ever found. If you dig jazz, there's more than a few guitar players on the allaboutjazz.com forums.

www.tdpri.com

Although it's mostly for tele's, there's other forums as well (like stratocasters, etc).

TDPRI is a great forum...Definitely more polite and serious minded than TB, but good people and a nice friendly community of Tele lovers. I used to be a regular there for quite a while.

You guys need to check out www.thegearpage.net
I looked at all the other ones. But the gearpage is IMO by far the best one going.
Completely user supported, no banner ads or nuttin!
It has a lot of big name pros that post on it all the time (heck Brad Paisley posts on it).
It's as close as your gonna get to our beloved TB!!!

the gear page is back, after a nasty, nasty crash, and a few months of downtime.

It is the best for little 6 string discussions.

I'm on the 7string one under the same name, cool website.
Not a member of the shredzone one though, but I've browsed a bit and it's a great place as well.

I was shown both of these by my (non-egotistical ) guitarist.

Have you collected dna samples so he can be cloned and thus create a non-obnoxious guitarist race?

He's wierd enough that if he was asked, he'd probably allow himself to be cloned.
