What guitarist have had an impact on your bass style ? Without a doubt my groove for riffage came from James Hetfield.

I got a lot of my style from one Jimi Hendrix.

I also learned a lot from an unknown by the name of Ryan Korn. He was the guitarist in an old band I was in, grooved like Stevie Ray but had soul like Johnny Lang, and watching him play I learned quite a bit about the nature of the jam.

Good times, good times...

By far the person who has influenced me the most in every musical way...playing, soloing, composing and just overall concept of music is Pat Metheny.

John Scofield (phrasing, rythm, note choice, most direct influence)
Robert Fripp (mostly composition)
Scott Henderson (not sure about influence, but I listen to too much Tribal Tech so there has to be!)
TJ Elmerich (fluidity)
