What happened to the chat?

I tried to login to the chat and all I get is "Applet Halted. This chat room is closed"

I'm kinda disappointed. When I joined last november, the main reason was because I was bored and wanted to get on chat to talk with you guys......but once I joined I ended up rarely using chat

so I guess it was a marketing point for me
