I thought of that two years ago, I remember thinking I really couldn't be bothered lol. It's interesting though, for lazy people like me, anything that speeds up string changes is cool. Doesn't look like it'd fit a bass though , I could always machine a bass adapter.

plus there is a tuner like that built into a guitar...i forget the name, but jimmy page endorses it. it is really cool, but expensive!

Super...I suppose you could do the speed thing (without the automatic tuning) by taking the top portion of a peg-winder and fitting it into an electric drill, but I guess some people can't be bothered to look at a tuner.

If it has to do mechanical work like turning the tuners, it'll eat batteries like crazy.
