I think that is a fine example of an extinct species that once ruled the earth as an "analog synthesizer" back in the 1980's. You had to actually turn knobs to create the sound you wanted. It was a lot of work twiddling with all those knobs... but it was a lot of fun, too

Also included from the looks of it, has the sequencer.
Worth a good bit of cash too.
