What kind of camera are you using?

What kinds of cameras are people using? Especially for photographing instruments, close up stuff. Post some examples if you can. My Coolpix S210 finally died, looking for something new.

At the moment, I'm using the camera in my 'phone (HTC Desire HD) until I can afford a decent digital SLR. It does o.k., once I played with the settings, except in low light situations.

Most camera phones take pretty good pics these days.I've used mine a lot recently. But I've been using a Canon 50D for a couple of years, and still have a canon D60 that works well to. D60's can be found very reasonably priced.

I'm presently using a Nikon D7000, but the D4 has just been announced and the D800 looks to be readied in the wings, so I may be upgrading soon.

iPhone 4S. Takes great photos. I can edit them from my phone with the help of various apps. It's great in low light too.

Main one is a Canon SX40 HS. Since I travel so much, a SLR is just too many things to carry around.
