I myself am listening to: Jerry Rafferty-City to City on LP. Got it at Goodwill today along with Pat Benatar and Van Halen 1984. Damn it sounds great on an almost perfect shape vinyl. I didn't quite know where to post this so go ahead and move it if this doesn't seem right for the bass section.

This goes in the Misc or Recordings forum. This forum is for talk about basses (instruments) only.

Anyway, I'm listening to "The Be-Bop Guitars," a Berklee-faculty "supergroup."

http://www.bebopguitars.com/

Top-shelf stuff! I love it. The specific song I'm listening to is a cover of Freddie the Freeloader off their "The Be-Bop Guitars... And More!" album.

I'm listening to the remastered reissue of Gallon Drunk's You, the Night... and the Music, probably their greatest album... some really nice overdriven bass tone on some of these tracks... I think this is one of my top 10 fave albums of all time

Can I move this myself or must a moderator move it? I love threads like this because I like that real time sense of what is going on.

A mod will have to move it. You can report your post by clicking on the exclamation point in the red & white triangle in the upper-right corner of your post and asking nicely to have it moved. It will ping to the mods currently online.

"Fake Plastic Trees" by Radiohead. What an emotional tune, and band for that matter.

I love the first two Radiohead albums. I saw them live in SF at the Warfield in 92 with Belly when all my too cool friends thought "Creep" was a one hit wonder piece of pop. I guess I am a purist but I just don't care that much for the material after "The Bends". I sent a message to the mod to get this moved to the right section. I hope everyone keeps posting though. I love these types of threads. Feels intimate in a musical way.

I love these threads, too, but yeah, TB is more useful when everything is in the right place, especially if you're trying to use the Search function.

Now I'm on to Bettye LaVette's cover of Fiona Apple's "Sleep to Dream."

My housemate is blaring out Motorhead, so I'm listening to that by default.

I never really listened to stoner/doom metal regardless of my main amp rig but I listened to St. Vitus this past week while drinking alot of beer and enjoyed it. Black Sabbath'esque and reminded me of my older brother recruiting me into the world of rock/metal while playing Atari 2600! ha ha!!!

Dresden Dolls - A is for Accident

(edit, there is one good song on that album. The rest kind of suck...)

So now I'm listening to Radiohead, Pablo Honey
