I myself am listening to: Jerry Rafferty-City to City on LP. Got it at Goodwill today along with Pat Benatar and Van Halen 1984. Damn it sounds great on an almost perfect shape vinyl. I didn't quite know where to post this so go ahead and move it if this doesn't seem right for the bass section.

Anyway, I'm listening to "The Be-Bop Guitars," a Berklee-faculty "supergroup." http://www.bebopguitars.com/
Top-shelf stuff! I love it. The specific song I'm listening to is a cover of Freddie the Freeloader off their "The Be-Bop Guitars... And More!" album.

I think this is one of my top 10 fave albums of all time

You can report your post by clicking on the exclamation point in the red & white triangle in the upper-right corner of your post and asking nicely to have it moved. It will ping to the mods currently online.

I saw them live in SF at the Warfield in 92 with Belly when all my too cool friends thought "Creep" was a one hit wonder piece of pop. I guess I am a purist but I just don't care that much for the material after "The Bends". I sent a message to the mod to get this moved to the right section. I hope everyone keeps posting though. I love these types of threads. Feels intimate in a musical way.

Now I'm on to Bettye LaVette's cover of Fiona Apple's "Sleep to Dream."

Black Sabbath'esque and reminded me of my older brother recruiting me into the world of rock/metal while playing Atari 2600! ha ha!!!

(edit, there is one good song on that album. The rest kind of suck...)
So now I'm listening to Radiohead, Pablo Honey
