What makes Nickelback such a terrible band?

So, I noticed (and was actively engaged) in a thread which was full of people seemingly eager to express their..."lack of appreciation" for Nickelback. It probably shouldn't have been the appropriate place to discuss those views, so I decided to make a new thread about it.

So, post your pictures, videos, comments, and general joyful banter about how Nickelback is awful, why they're awful, what they're awful at, etc.

OK, I am not a fan of Nickleback - bad lyrics, obvious songs, overproduced - but I can't fault them for giving people what they want, and they really can play.

To me, it actually shows that TWO Nickelback songs sound fairly similar. How does it prove that everyrhing they write is exactly the same?

And can we say that every other band has never written two songs that sound fairly alike? I highly doubt it.

The first example that comes into my head of a band that I could mention here is ZZ Top. A lot of their songs are based on 12-bar and could be said to sound pretty similar. Where is the mass ZZ Top hatred?
Many bands and artists have a "sound." AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen being two more I can think of. I don't understand all of the Nickelback bashing myself and quite like a lot of their stuff. So what if some of the songs do sound similar, why is that a cause for universal loathing?

Jesus came back through time riding on a velociraptor and pushed four pregnant women down a flight of stairs. He then placed them all in a commune where they were forced to listen to mediocre rock songs 24/7. After years of listening to subpar music, they were all given instruments and told to record an album in 2 weeks without knowing how to play. This created what you know as nickleback.

In short: It's jesus's fault.

I'm sure you can find something better to do than start a thread dedicated to dissing other musicians
