What mp3 player do you use (non ipod/itouch/apple)

I'm looking for a new mp3 player. I just don't like iTunes.

I prefer at least 20GB, the player doesn't need to have fancy features necessarily... just needs to be hard-drive style, where I can easily move and organize files on my computer and just swap them over, and play them on the mp3 player...

What do you guys use/suggest?

I like iRiver mp3 players. They're small, HD style... you can choose among a great variety of models, some of them with 20 Gb or more.

Mine's not 20GB (it's a bit old now) but I still like it a lot:

Creative Zen X-Fi 16gb w/SD slot (I have a 4gb SD card in there) for a total of 20gb. It's not tiny though because it plays movies as well. Also comes with noise cancelling headphones.

Ipod without itunes and Sansa

I have had several ipods that I run with Media Monkey from a database on my laptop. They will display stuff just like they do with itunes. Takes a little more time to get set up and manage, but it is worth it to me not to give Apple the money just because they invent a really cool player. I haven't used this with the Touch yet, so you may want to research this if you go that route. Great with Nano. Also had a sansa that was fine, but a little bulky that my brother now has.

I use my BB Storm smartphone. I can stream MP3's, Sirius radio and videos from my home PC using Orb on the 3G network.

I own about 30 players.. am plugged into them about 60 hours per week.

Overall..

Phillips Go Gear is the easiest to load to.. no cables.. no software.. just drag and drop..

I'm not a fan of rechargable internal batteries as they die when you least need them.

I'm with you.. my big ipod is bulky, slow and tough to upload.

A bought-on-sale Father's Day present from my wife & children is mine, Gigaware(Radio Shack). Works fine for me and the CD player is history. Windows Media player playlist SYNC function is used to dump songlists on(one playlist out of the 110 now is ALL 245 band songs). It's 16 GB, USB charged(share my GPS charger in the car). Sound quality is OK but not as good as the next suggestion.

Son had an amazing Creative: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CS7U1C/?tag=ddcomp-20
that was stolen by someone after a friend wrecked his car(son was not in the car, not at the scene). The Creative was missing from the glovebox when he got to the wrecker yard. Played videos, music, etc. with GREAT quality.

As for the internal battery, you can get around that issue with one of these USB power supplies(converts AA's to USB): http://www.amazon.com/AA-Powered-Bac...4484183&sr=1-7
and use enloop rechargeable AA's(THEY WORK very well for this and in cameras).
