For me, the biggest discovery this year was Cocteau Twins. Safe to say I'm a fan for life.

This year has been an odd one for me, musically. I've delved back into TripHop for some strange reason.

Metric
Portishead
Collide
Kidneythieves

Also went back and found Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip's 2nd album. I miss these guys.

P.S. Whoever said Symphonic Metal... Thank you. You win.

Glad to see you found Toadies. As for me: Fitz and the Tantrums, couldn't avoid Gotye or Adele (I actually ended up enjoying both), Citizen Cope, The Shins, and Portugal the Man. There were probably many others, but I cannot recall them at this time.
